Another year on and the Bolton Food and Drink Festival is on the horizon, with this year's event aiming to be bigger and better than ever. Whatever your preferences, there will certainly be a delightful dish for everyone as we welcome celebrity chefs into the centre including Gino D'Acampo, James Martin, Michael Caines and the Hairy Bikers. What's more, a number of reputable restaurants and food outlets across the town are firing up the ovens and getting involved in what should be a spectacular food fest. The events will kick off with a live demonstration from Michelin-star chef Michael Caines at 12:30pm on Friday 26th of August, with proceedings continuing over the weekend through until Monday. Other events include a 'Best of Lancashire' four course dinner at JJ's in Egerton, a 'Pie and Peas Supper' at Mercure Last Drop Village Hotel and Spa, a 1940s themed feast at Olympus fish & chip restaurant and a 'Cider Festival' at Ye Olde Man & Scythe (which has recently had national exposure for its delicious food on ITV's This Morning (http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/news/9170572.Paddy_and_a_load_of_tripe_boosts_pub/).
